Near our hotel, at the foot of the spectacular mountains Lavarella, Conturines, Lagazuoi and Settsass lies the famous cross-country skiing centre of Armentarola San Cassiano. Set amid a pristine natural landscape are 26 kilometres of trails from which to enjoy stunning views of the Dolomites.
There are 8 trails of varying difficulty called Sass Dlacia, Sarè, Gran Ancëi, Scotoni, Setsass, Störes, Conturines and the ski-school trail, a choice of trails on which you can improve your skills while having fun and passing some magical time in the bosom of Mother Nature.
Corvara, a few kilometres from San Cassiano, has another area dedicated to cross-country skiing, also with a number of trails of varying difficulty for the classic or skating technique, the trails have a shallow gradient and are therefore also suitable for beginners.
