The Alta Badia ski carousel, boasting 130 kilometres of pistes with perfect snow-cover prepared every day, is the beating heart of the famous Dolomiti Superski area. Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano and Badia are all linked by pistes running through snowy woodlands at the foot of the enchanting Dolomite peaks.
Hotel Gran Paradiso is the ideal starting-off point for some of the most scenic ski tours in the whole of the Alps, such as the tour of the Sellaronda or the tour of the Grande Guerra (Great War).
From the San Cassiano Armentarola lifts, near our Hotel Gran Paradiso, it is possible to reach all the pistes of Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Arabba, Cortina and Marmolada. Also within easy reach is the famous Gran Risa, the black run that hosts the annual giant slalom of the Alpine Ski World Cup.
